Seeking Weihenstephaner & Schofferhofer Hefeweizen in Manitoba: A Call for Solutions
As a craft beer enthusiast in Manitoba, I’ve encountered a bit of frustration lately regarding the availability of some of my favorite brews. While Liquor Mart does stock a variety of imported beers, including popular selections like Paulaner from Germany, there are a couple of notable omissions that have left me wanting more.
Specifically, I’ve been on the hunt for Weihenstephaner and Schofferhofer Hefeweizen, both of which are favorites among many beer lovers. Unfortunately, despite their popularity in other provinces like Ontario and Alberta—where they’re readily available at local beer vendors—these delicious hefeweizens are nowhere to be found in Manitoba.
Adding to the complexity is the challenge posed by Canadian online ordering regulations. This means I can’t conveniently place an order online to have these selections shipped from provinces where they are sold.
So, I’m reaching out to my fellow Manitobans: Have any of you found effective ways to obtain these beers? Perhaps there’s a workaround or a suggestion on how to persuade Liquor Mart to expand its offerings. Any insights or recommendations would be greatly appreciated! Let’s unite in our quest for quality craft beer in Manitoba!
