Seeking Weihenstephaner & Schofferhofer Hefeweizen in Manitoba: A Frustration Shared
As a beer enthusiast residing in Manitoba, I often find myself grappling with the frustrating limitations of local liquor availability. While Liquor Mart offers a respectable selection of imported beers—featuring well-known brands like Paulaner and others from Germany—there seems to be a glaring absence of two particular favorites: Weihenstephaner and Schofferhofer Hefeweizen.
It’s particularly disheartening considering that these two delightful brews are accessible in provinces such as Ontario and Alberta, where local beer vendors proudly stock them. Unfortunately, the restrictive online ordering regulations in Canada prevent residents of Manitoba from easily acquiring these sought-after beers from neighboring provinces.
This situation leaves me pondering: Are there any fellow Manitobans facing the same predicament? Has anyone found a workaround or potential solutions to this frustrating issue? Or perhaps, has anyone contacted Liquor Mart to express interest in expanding their beer selection? Your insights and assistance would be greatly appreciated as we continue to seek out these delectable hefeweizens that deserve a place in our local beer scene.
