Seeking Weihenstephaner & Schofferhofer Hefeweizen in Manitoba: A Brewer’s Dilemma
As a craft beer enthusiast residing in Manitoba, I often find myself in pursuit of unique imports to enjoy. While our local Liquor Mart offers a commendable selection of international beers, featuring well-known brands like Paulaner from Germany, I have repeatedly encountered a frustrating omission: Weihenstephaner and Schofferhofer Hefeweizen.
These delightful brews, celebrated for their distinct flavors, are noticeably absent from our shelves. Unfortunately, the online ordering restrictions make it impossible for me to ship them from other provinces like Ontario or Alberta, where they are readily available.
I’m reaching out to fellow Manitoba residents for suggestions—has anyone found a workaround for this predicament? Additionally, do you think there’s a possibility of urging Liquor Mart to consider stocking these sought-after beers? Your insights and support would be greatly appreciated as we strive to enhance our local beer selection!
