Discovering Weihenstephaner & Schofferhofer Hefeweizen in Manitoba: Seeking Solutions
As a craft beer enthusiast in Manitoba, I often find myself frustrated by the limited selection available at local liquor stores. While Liquor Mart does offer a commendable variety of imported beers, including options like Paulaner and several notable German brews, two personal favorites—Weihenstephaner and Schofferhofer Hefeweizen—are strangely absent from their shelves.
Thanks to the restrictive online ordering regulations in Canada, I am unable to have these delicious German wheat beers shipped from provinces like Ontario or Alberta, where they are readily available. This has raised my concern regarding access to these unique brews and prompted me to seek alternative solutions.
I want to reach out to fellow beer lovers in Manitoba: have any of you successfully sourced Weihenstephaner or Schofferhofer in our province? If so, I would greatly appreciate your insights or suggestions. Is there any chance Liquor Mart would consider expanding their offerings to include these sought-after beers?
