Title: Seeking Weihenstephaner & Schofferhofer Hefeweizen: A Manitoba Dilemma
As a beer enthusiast residing in Manitoba, I find myself facing a frustrating challenge. While it’s true that Liquor Mart offers a commendable selection of imported beers, including notable brands like Paulaner from Germany, there are two particular options that are conspicuously missing from their shelves: Weihenstephaner and Schofferhofer Hefeweizen.
The absence of these beloved wheat beers is especially disappointing, especially given the complexities of Canadian online ordering laws. Unfortunately, this means that I cannot easily order these specific brews from provinces like Ontario or Alberta, where they are readily available at local beer vendors.
I’m reaching out to fellow Manitobans for suggestions. Has anyone found a workaround or alternative way to procure Weihenstephaner or Schofferhofer Hefeweizen in our region? Additionally, do you think there’s a chance that Liquor Mart would consider expanding their offerings to include these popular selections?
