Seeking Weihenstephaner & Schofferhofer Hefeweizen in Manitoba: A Frustrating Quest
As a beer enthusiast residing in Manitoba, I’ve encountered a rather frustrating challenge in my pursuit of some exceptional brews—specifically, Weihenstephaner and Schofferhofer Hefeweizen. While my local Liquor Mart does boast a commendable selection of imported beers, including various options from Germany like Paulaner, it falls short when it comes to these particular favorites.
What exacerbates the situation are the convoluted online ordering regulations in Canada. Unfortunately, even though both Ontario and Alberta offer these delightful beers at their respective vendors, I am hindered from placing an order from within Manitoba. This leaves me grappling with the question: are there any alternative solutions for obtaining these sought-after Hefeweizens?
I’m reaching out to fellow Manitobans in hopes of gathering some insights or suggestions. Has anyone had success in acquiring Weihenstephaner or Schofferhofer in our province? Is there a possibility that Liquor Mart might consider expanding its inventory to include these brews? Any advice or assistance would be immensely appreciated! Let’s share our experiences and hopefully find a way to enjoy these wonderful beers together.
