Seeking Weihenstephaner & Schofferhofer Hefeweizen in Manitoba: A Local Frustration
As a beer enthusiast, I have always appreciated the diverse selection of import beers available at Liquor Mart in Manitoba. It’s great to see a variety of brands, including well-known options like Paulaner from Germany. However, I encounter a persistent frustration: the absence of two particular favorites—Weihenstephaner and Schofferhofer Hefeweizen.
Despite Manitoba’s impressive beer selection, it seems these specific brews are elusive. Compounding this issue are the stringent Canadian online ordering regulations, which prevent me from sourcing them from other provinces like Ontario and Alberta where they are readily available.
As a fellow Manitoban, I’m reaching out to the community for insights or assistance. Is there any possibility that Liquor Mart would consider stocking these German gems? Alternatively, do you have any suggestions on how I might be able to acquire them? I appreciate any tips or resources you may have to share!
