As a beer enthusiast, it can be frustrating to search for that one special brew you can’t seem to find at your local store, especially in Manitoba. While Liquor Mart does offer a respectable selection of import beers, including renowned brands like Paulaner and others from Germany, two beloved brews remain elusive: Weihenstephaner and Schofferhofer Hefeweizen.
What compounds this issue is the restrictive online ordering regulations in Canada. Unfortunately, this means I can’t order my favorite hefeweizens from provinces like Ontario or Alberta, where they are readily available at beer vendors. The frustration is palpable, especially for those of us in Manitoba who are keen on exploring a diverse beer selection.
So, I’m reaching out to my fellow Manitobans: Have you encountered similar difficulties? Is there any way we might persuade Liquor Mart to consider stocking these delightful hefeweizens? Your thoughts and suggestions would be greatly appreciated as we navigate this quest for quality brews together!
