Recently, I encountered a rather peculiar situation during a dinner outing that left me pondering the intricacies of dining etiquette, particularly regarding the proper presentation of craft beers. As a fan of hefeweizen, I specifically ordered this style, anticipating the delightful experience it typically brings. However, when my drink arrived, it astonished me to find it served in a regular pilsner glass instead of the specialized wheat beer glass designed to enhance the tasting experience.
At first glance, this may seem like a trivial matter, yet the choice of glassware can significantly influence both the flavor and aroma of the beer.
