Seeking Weihenstephaner & Schofferhofer Hefeweizen in Manitoba: What Are My Options?

As a craft beer enthusiast, I often find myself disheartened by the limited availability of some of my favorite brews here in Manitoba. While Liquor Mart does offer a respectable selection of imported beers — including well-known brands like Paulaner — there’s one glaring omission: Weihenstephaner and Schofferhofer Hefeweizen.

This situation is particularly frustrating given that these delightful German wheat beers are readily available in provinces like Ontario and Alberta. Unfortunately, the restrictive Canadian online ordering regulations prevent me from having these beers shipped directly to me.

I’m reaching out to fellow Manitobans for ideas. Has anyone successfully tracked down these specific Hefeweizens locally or found an alternative means to procure them? Additionally, I wonder if it might be worth contacting Liquor Mart to see if there’s a chance they would consider adding these popular brews to their inventory.
