The Quest for Weihenstephaner & Schofferhofer Hefeweizen in Manitoba: Seeking Solutions
As a craft beer enthusiast residing in Manitoba, I’ve found myself understandably frustrated with the limitations surrounding access to some of my favorite brews. While Liquor Mart offers a respectable selection of imported beers, including the likes of Paulaner and other German varieties, two esteemed options remain elusive: Weihenstephaner and Schofferhofer Hefeweizen.
The disheartening reality is that, due to the restrictive online ordering regulations in Canada, I’m unable to place an order for these delightful hefeweizens from neighboring provinces like Ontario or Alberta, where they are readily available. This situation leaves me wondering: what alternatives do I have within Manitoba’s liquor retail landscape?
