Seeking Weihenstephaner & Schofferhofer Hefeweizen in Manitoba: A Craft Beer Challenge
As a craft beer enthusiast residing in Manitoba, I’ve encountered some frustrations regarding the availability of certain beloved brews. While Liquor Mart offers a commendable selection of imported beers—featuring brands like Paulaner and other German favorites—my quest for Weihenstephaner and Schofferhofer Hefeweizen remains unmet.
Unfortunately, due to restrictive Canadian online alcohol ordering regulations, I find myself unable to purchase these specific beers from vendors in Ontario or Alberta, where they are readily available. This limitation has left me pondering potential solutions.
If there are fellow beverage aficionados from Manitoba reading this, I would love to hear your thoughts. Has anyone successfully sourced Weihenstephaner and Schofferhofer Hefeweizen locally, or have suggestions for alternative routes? Additionally, do you think reaching out to Liquor Mart and expressing our interest might encourage them to expand their offerings?
Your insights would be invaluable, and any assistance in navigating this challenge is greatly appreciated!
