Finding Weihenstephaner & Schofferhofer Hefeweizen in Manitoba: A Frustrating Quest
If you’re a craft beer enthusiast in Manitoba, you might share my frustration when it comes to sourcing specific imports. While Liquor Mart offers a commendable selection of international beers—including popular choices like Paulaner—there’s a notable absence that many of us crave: Weihenstephaner and Schofferhofer Hefeweizen.
It’s puzzling to see these beloved brews elude our local shelves, especially when neighboring provinces like Ontario and Alberta carry them in their beer stores. Unfortunately, Canadian regulations on online ordering complicate matters further, preventing us from easily procuring these fantastic beers from outside our province.
For fellow Manitobans navigating the same predicament, I’m reaching out for advice. Have any of you experienced success in finding these specific beers locally? Alternatively, is there a way we could persuade Liquor Mart to consider adding Weihenstephaner and Schofferhofer Hefeweizen to their inventory?
Your insights and suggestions would be greatly appreciated as we embark on this shared quest for quality craft beer in Manitoba!
