The Quest for Weihenstephaner & Schofferhofer Hefeweizen in Manitoba: A Local Challenge
As a beer enthusiast residing in Manitoba, I find myself facing a specific dilemma that many others in similar states of enjoyment can relate to. While it’s true that Liquor Mart boasts an impressive selection of import beers—including well-known names like Paulaner from Germany—there are some notable exceptions that leave me craving more variety.
Unfortunately, two standout options, Weihenstephaner and Schofferhofer Hefeweizen, are conspicuously absent from their shelves. To complicate matters further, Canadian online alcohol regulations prevent me from easily ordering these beloved beers from provinces like Ontario or Alberta, where they are readily available in local beer vendors.
So, I’m reaching out to fellow Manitobans to see if anyone has insights or suggestions regarding this perplexing situation. Have you encountered similar roadblocks in your search for specific beers? Could there be a possibility of working with Liquor Mart to expand their offerings? Any thoughts or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
Let’s unite in our love for great beer and navigate these challenges together. Cheers!
