Seeking Weihenstephaner & Schofferhofer Hefeweizen in Manitoba: A Call to Local Beer Enthusiasts
As an avid beer lover, I often find myself exploring various international brews. While I appreciate the selection at Liquor Mart in Manitoba, there’s one glaring omission that continues to frustrate me: the absence of Weihenstephaner and Schofferhofer Hefeweizen. While they do stock a range of impressive imports, including popular German options like Paulaner, these specific beers remain elusive.
What compounds the issue are Canada’s online beer ordering restrictions. Unfortunately, even though these beloved Hefeweizens are available in neighboring provinces like Ontario and Alberta, I’m unable to have them shipped here due to regulatory hurdles.
I’m reaching out to fellow Manitobans who share my passion for beer. Has anyone else encountered this dilemma? Do you think there’s a chance that Liquor Mart might consider expanding their inventory to include these sought-after brands? Any suggestions or leads on where I might find them, or ways to advocate for their addition to local options, would be greatly appreciated.
Let’s unite and see if we can bring these fantastic brews to Manitoba!
