Seeking Weihenstephaner & Schofferhofer Hefeweizen in Manitoba: A Frustration for Craft Beer Lovers
As a craft beer enthusiast residing in Manitoba, I’ve encountered a frustrating hurdle in my search for two beloved German brews: Weihenstephaner and Schofferhofer Hefeweizen. Although Liquor Mart offers a commendable selection of imported beers, including the highly-praised Paulaner and various other German labels, these two classics remain disappointingly absent from their inventory.
Adding to my frustration are the perplexing online ordering regulations in Canada that prevent me from having these specific beers shipped in from provinces like Ontario or Alberta, where they are readily available in local beer vendors.
So, I reach out to my fellow Manitobans: have any of you found alternative ways to enjoy these exceptional Hefeweizens? Perhaps you have suggestions or insights into whether Liquor Mart would consider stocking these options in the future?
Your thoughts and assistance would be immensely helpful for those of us eager to savor the unique flavors of these iconic brews. Let’s join forces and see how we can bring Weihenstephaner and Schofferhofer Hefeweizen to our province!
