Seeking Weihenstephaner & Schofferhofer Hefeweizen in Manitoba: Any Suggestions?
If you’re a fan of imported beers, you’re likely familiar with the renowned Weihenstephaner and Schofferhofer Hefeweizen. As a Manitoba resident, I find it quite frustrating that while Liquor Mart offers a solid selection of international brews, these specific Hefeweizens are conspicuously absent from their shelves.
Although varieties like Paulaner can be found—along with a range of other German imports—my search for Weihenstephaner and Schofferhofer has proven to be quite challenging. What’s even more exasperating is that Canadian online ordering regulations prevent me from making a simple purchase from neighboring provinces such as Ontario or Alberta, where these delightful beers are readily available.
So, I’m reaching out to the community: do any fellow Manitobans have suggestions for obtaining these sought-after Hefeweizens? Furthermore, has anyone had success in convincing Liquor Mart to consider expanding their offerings? Your insights would be greatly appreciated as we attempt to enjoy these classic brews in our province!
