Seeking Weihenstephaner & Schofferhofer Hefeweizen in Manitoba: A Beer Lover’s Dilemma
As a passionate enthusiast of fine brews, I find myself in a frustrating situation here in Manitoba. While our local Liquor Mart offers a commendable selection of imported beers—including popular brands like Paulaner and several others from Germany—some favorites remain frustratingly out of reach.
My quest for Weihenstephaner and Schofferhofer Hefeweizen hits a wall, as these beloved beverages are not available in-store. On top of that, Canadian regulations around online alcohol ordering make it impossible for me to procure them from vendors in Ontario or Alberta—both of which stock my desired selections.
This leads me to seek advice from fellow Manitobans. Has anyone found creative solutions to obtain these German wheat beers? Do you think there’s potential for Liquor Mart to expand their offerings to include these popular brews? Any suggestions or guidance would be immensely appreciated!
