Seeking Weihenstephaner & Schofferhofer Hefeweizen in Manitoba: A Call for Support
As a passionate beer enthusiast residing in Manitoba, I’ve run into a frustrating hurdle that I’d love to address with fellow locals. While Liquor Mart boasts a commendable selection of international brews, including brands like Paulaner from Germany, there’s a noticeable absence that has me quite vexed: Weihenstephaner and Schofferhofer Hefeweizen.
These beloved German wheat beers hold a special place in my heart, yet I’m often left disappointed when I realize they’re not available in our local shops. To complicate matters further, Canada’s online alcohol ordering regulations impose strict limitations that prevent me from purchasing these delightful brews from provinces like Ontario and Alberta, where they can easily be found.
So, I turn to you, fellow Manitobans: Is there a glimmer of hope? Has anyone had luck sourcing these offerings, or perhaps working with Liquor Mart to broaden their inventory? Your insights and suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Let’s collaborate to nurture our local beer culture and bring these fantastic Hefeweizens into our hands!
