Weihenstephaner & Schofferhofer Hefeweizen in Manitoba (Or Online)

Sourcing Weihenstephaner & Schofferhofer Hefeweizen in Manitoba: A Call for Assistance

As a devoted beer enthusiast residing in Manitoba, I find myself faced with a perplexing challenge. While our local Liquor Mart boasts a commendable selection of imported beers, including notable brands like Paulaner and several others hailing from Germany, there is a glaring absence that leaves me—and perhaps many of you—frustrated: Weihenstephaner and Schofferhofer Hefeweizen.

These iconic hefeweizens are unfortunately not part of the inventory here, and the limitations imposed by Canadian regulations on online alcohol ordering only add to the dilemma. Unlike our fellow provinces of Ontario and Alberta, which readily offer these delightful brews in their shops, here in Manitoba, I am met with disappointment.

I’d love to hear from my fellow Manitobans—Has anyone else encountered this issue? Are there suggestions out there for obtaining these sought-after beers? Is it possible that Liquor Mart might be willing to reconsider stocking Weihenstephaner and Schofferhofer? Any insights, recommendations, or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated as we navigate this beverage conundrum together. Cheers to finding a solution!
