As a beer enthusiast residing in Manitoba, I’ve encountered a rather frustrating situation regarding my favorite beverages. While it’s true that Liquor Mart offers a commendable selection of imported beers, including popular brands like Paulaner from Germany, two exceptional brews are conspicuously absent from their shelves: Weihenstephaner and Schofferhofer Hefeweizen.
This gap becomes even more perplexing considering that these fantastic German wheat beers are readily available in neighboring provinces such as Ontario and Alberta. Unfortunately, Canadian online ordering restrictions hinder my ability to conveniently procure them.
I find myself reaching out to fellow Manitobans: have you navigated this issue before? Is there a chance that Liquor Mart might consider expanding their offerings to include these beloved Hefeweizens?
