Title: Seeking Weihenstephaner & Schofferhofer Hefeweizen in Manitoba: A Frustrating Quest
As a beer enthusiast, I often find joy in exploring the vast array of import beers available at local shops. In Manitoba, the Liquor Mart does offer a respectable selection, featuring popular choices like Paulaner from Germany. However, there’s one glaring omission that has become a source of frustration for me: Weihenstephaner and Schofferhofer Hefeweizen are nowhere to be found on their shelves.
Compounding this issue is the restrictive nature of Canadian online ordering laws. Despite both Ontario and Alberta carrying these delightful brews, I am unable to have them shipped to my home in Manitoba. This limitation has left me at a loss.
I am turning to the community for suggestions. Are there any fellow Manitobans who have faced similar challenges? Have you found any creative solutions to get your hands on these beers? Additionally, do you think there’s a possibility that Liquor Mart might consider expanding their offerings to include these beloved options? Any insights or assistance would be greatly appreciated as I continue my quest for Weihenstephaner and Schofferhofer Hefeweizen!
