The Quest for Weihenstephaner & Schofferhofer Hefeweizen in Manitoba: Seeking Solutions
As a craft beer enthusiast residing in Manitoba, I’ve found myself understandably frustrated with the limitations surrounding access to some of my favorite brews. While Liquor Mart offers a respectable selection of imported beers, including the likes of Paulaner and other German varieties, two esteemed options remain elusive: Weihenstephaner and Schofferhofer Hefeweizen.
The disheartening reality is that, due to the restrictive online ordering regulations in Canada, I’m unable to place an order for these delightful hefeweizens from neighboring provinces like Ontario or Alberta, where they are readily available. This situation leaves me wondering: what alternatives do I have within Manitoba’s liquor retail landscape?
For my fellow Manitobans who share this passion for exceptional craft beer, I’d love to hear your thoughts. Have you encountered similar frustrations or perhaps found creative solutions to obtain these specific brands? Could there be potential for the Liquor Mart to consider expanding their offerings to include these cherished German brews?
I appreciate any insights or suggestions from the community. Together, let’s explore ways to bring Weihenstephaner and Schofferhofer Hefeweizen to our shelves!
