Discovering Weihenstephaner & Schofferhofer Hefeweizen in Manitoba: A Frustrating Quest
As a beer enthusiast residing in Manitoba, I often find myself on a mission to explore diverse import options, especially those renowned German brews. While Liquor Mart does feature a commendable selection of international beers, including popular names like Paulaner, I’ve hit a roadblock when it comes to sourcing two of my favorites: Weihenstephaner and Schofferhofer Hefeweizen.
My heart sinks knowing that these delightful wheat beers are readily available in other provinces like Ontario and Alberta. Unfortunately, Canadian online ordering regulations make it nearly impossible for me to have them shipped to Manitoba. This leaves me searching for alternatives to satisfy my cravings.
To my fellow Manitoubians: have you faced a similar predicament? Do you have any suggestions or ideas on how to procure these specific beers in our province? Perhaps someone has had luck discussing this with Liquor Mart management to explore the possibility of getting these sought-after brews stocked.
Your insights and help would be greatly appreciated! Let’s unite in our quest for these refreshing ales!
