Seeking Weihenstephaner & Schofferhofer Hefeweizen in Manitoba: A Craft Beer Conundrum
As a passionate beer enthusiast residing in Manitoba, I often find myself frustrated by the limited availability of certain imports at my local liquor stores. Although Liquor Mart offers a respectable selection of various import beers, including notable brands like Paulaner from Germany, two specific favorites are conspicuously absent: Weihenstephaner and Schofferhofer Hefeweizen.
What adds to my annoyance is the restrictive online ordering regulations that make it challenging — if not impossible — to obtain these beloved brews from other provinces such as Ontario or Alberta, where they are readily available.
I’m reaching out to the community for some guidance. If there are fellow beer lovers in Manitoba who share my plight, have you found any creative solutions or alternative sources? Additionally, do you think Liquor Mart might consider adding these exceptional beers to their selection in the future?
Any tips or insights would be greatly appreciated as we navigate the intricacies of beer availability in our province!
