Seeking Weihenstephaner & Schofferhofer Hefeweizen in Manitoba: Any Suggestions?
As a fan of unique brews, I’ve consistently run into a frustrating issue here in Manitoba. While I’m grateful that Liquor Mart stocks a variety of imported beers—including well-known brands like Paulaner and others from Germany—there’s a notable absence that has left me unsettled: Weihenstephaner and Schofferhofer Hefeweizen.
It’s baffling that these sought-after beers aren’t available locally, especially considering that neighboring provinces such as Ontario and Alberta carry them in their beer outlets. Unfortunately, Canadian regulations concerning online alcohol ordering complicate matters, making it impossible for me to simply place an order from these provinces and have them shipped to Manitoba.
So, I’m reaching out to fellow Manitobans – do any of you have tips or alternative options for acquiring these beloved Hefeweizens? Might there be a way to convince Liquor Mart to expand their offerings? Your input would be greatly appreciated as I navigate this beer-lover’s dilemma!
