Finding Weihenstephaner & Schofferhofer Hefeweizen in Manitoba: A Call for Help
As a devoted fan of craft beer, the quest for your favorite brews can sometimes feel frustrating—especially when you’re in Manitoba and on the hunt for specific imports. While it’s true that Liquor Mart offers a commendable selection of various international beers, including well-known brands like Paulaner, I’ve hit a wall when it comes to two standout choices: Weihenstephaner and Schofferhofer Hefeweizen.
It’s perplexing that these beloved German brews aren’t available at my local Liquor Mart. Adding to the challenge, online regulations for alcohol orders in Canada make it nearly impossible to obtain these beers from suppliers in provinces like Ontario or Alberta, where they are readily sold.
As a fellow Manitoban consumer, I am reaching out to see if anyone else has navigated this conundrum or found alternative sources for these particular Hefeweizens. Have you had any luck convincing Liquor Mart to stock these options, or do you have other suggestions?
Your insights and experiences would be greatly appreciated, as we work together to enhance our local beer offerings!
