Seeking Weihenstephaner & Schofferhofer Hefeweizen in Manitoba: A Call for Solutions
As a beer enthusiast residing in Manitoba, I find myself in a bit of a pickle. While it’s great to see a variety of imported beers on the shelves of Liquor Mart, including popular choices like Paulaner from Germany, there’s a notable absence that irks me—Weihenstephaner and Schofferhofer Hefeweizen.
The situation is compounded by Canadian regulations surrounding online alcohol sales, which restrict my ability to conveniently order these beloved brews from other provinces like Ontario or Alberta, where they are readily available.
To my fellow Manitobans, I’m reaching out for your insights and suggestions. Have any of you encountered a workaround or have ideas on how to secure a taste of these fantastic wheat beers? Furthermore, has anyone considered reaching out to Liquor Mart to express our interest? Your thoughts and recommendations would be greatly appreciated! Let’s collaborate and navigate this search together!
