Seeking Weihenstephaner & Schofferhofer Hefeweizen in Manitoba: A Call to Action
As a craft beer enthusiast, I find myself continually frustrated by the limited availability of certain beloved brews in Manitoba. While it’s true that Liquor Mart offers a commendable selection of imported beers, including options like Paulaner from Germany, there’s one glaring omission: Weihenstephaner and Schofferhofer Hefeweizen.
The absence of these delightful hefeweizens is particularly vexing given the restrictive online ordering regulations in Canada. Unfortunately, I am unable to purchase these beers from retailers in Ontario or Alberta, where they are readily available. It seems that I am not alone in my quest for these German classics, and I can’t help but wonder if there might be a way forward.
Are there any fellow Manitobans out there who share this sentiment? Have you found alternative solutions to access these unique beers? Furthermore, I’m curious to know if Liquor Mart would be open to suggestions or requests for expanding their inventory.
Any recommendations or strategies you might have would be greatly appreciated. Together, let’s see if we can bring Weihenstephaner and Schofferhofer Hefeweizen to our local shelves!
