The Quest for Weihenstephaner & Schofferhofer Hefeweizen in Manitoba: Seeking Solutions
As a devoted fan of craft beers, it’s always a thrilling experience to discover new brews. However, my journey to enjoy two of my all-time favorites, Weihenstephaner and Schofferhofer Hefeweizen, has hit a snag right here in Manitoba. While the local Liquor Mart boasts an impressive selection of imported beers, including renowned options like Paulaner from Germany, my beloved hefewiezen seems to be conspicuously absent.
Unfortunately, Canadian online alcohol sales regulations add further complexity to the situation. I’ve learned that even though provinces like Ontario and Alberta carry these specific brands in their liquor stores, I am unable to order them for delivery due to restrictions. This has left me wondering if there might be alternative solutions available.
To my fellow beer enthusiasts in Manitoba, I would love to hear your thoughts. Have any of you faced similar frustrations in finding specific craft beers locally? Is there a possibility that we could persuade Liquor Mart to expand their import offerings by including Weihenstephaner and Schofferhofer?
