Unleash Your Creativity at the Fermentation Frenzy Homebrew and Wine Contest
Attention all homebrewers and winemakers!
Get ready to showcase your brewing talents at the highly anticipated Fermentation Frenzy event, taking place on July 26, 2025, at the Butler County Fair in Ohio. Whether you craft beer, mead, cider, or wine, this is an exciting opportunity for you to enter your creations into a friendly competition and see how they measure up against others in the community.
As Ohio’s fastest-growing homebrew contest, we aim to establish ourselves as the foremost competition in the state. Each participant can submit up to four entries, with two bottles required for each beer, cider, or mead submission. For those of you focusing on wine, please check the specific guidelines available through the link provided below, as the rules may differ slightly. Currently, we are capping entries at 300, but if demand warrants it, we may expand that limit.

We are also seeking enthusiastic judges and stewards to help us make this event a success! If you’re local or can travel to Butler County, your participation would be invaluable. This event is sanctioned by the American Homebrewers Association (AHA), meaning BJCP judges will earn points for their contributions.
In true competition spirit, all judging will be conducted digitally, with entrants receiving detailed score sheets and comments to help them improve their craft. Plus, there will be medals, prizes, and the chance for the top winners to have their beers brewed commercially at local breweries!
