Why Sierra Nevada Captures My Heart
A Commitment to Community Through Craft Beer
Many beer enthusiasts and community-minded individuals have been following the impact of the recent Camp Fire. It’s heartwarming to see businesses stepping forward and making a difference during tough times. Sierra Nevada Brewing Company is one such organization, and their latest initiative is a testament to their dedication to community support.
Sierra Nevada is excited to announce their upcoming brew, the Resilience Butte County Proud IPA. In a move that speaks volumes about their commitment to aiding relief efforts, 100% of the proceeds from this unique beer will be donated to help those affected by the Camp Fire. This initiative is not just a local effort; Sierra Nevada is also encouraging breweries across the nation to join them in this philanthropic brewing endeavor.
In an open letter to breweries around the U.S., Sierra Nevada’s leadership has invited fellow brewers to participate in a collective brew day scheduled for November 27th. The company is collaborating with malt and hop suppliers to ensure that these participating breweries receive the necessary ingredients at no cost, further emphasizing their commitment to community involvement. Much like Sierra Nevada, these breweries will also be pledging to donate all sales from Resilience to the Camp Fire relief efforts.
Though rebuilding will be a long and challenging process, Sierra Nevada is in it for the long haul. The goal is to see Resilience IPA on tap in bars and taprooms across the country, creating a powerful sense of camaraderie and support for those impacted by the disaster.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to everyone who has rallied behind these efforts. Together, with a shared passion for craft beer and compassion for our fellow citizens, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of many.
Together, we will rise and rebuild.
