The Perils of Saving Bottles for Special Moments
As time goes by, I find myself grappling with the dilemma of holding onto my collection of unique beers for that elusive “special occasion.” The truth is, the longer I keep these bottles stored away, the more significant the event must be to justify popping the cork.
Ironically, I’ve amassed a small hoard of exceptional brews, and at this point, it seems it’s just me—along with perhaps a divine companion—who will savor them. It begs the question: Are we doing ourselves a disservice by waiting for the perfect moment to enjoy what we love?
In the quest to save these special bottles, I’ve come to realize that life’s everyday moments can also be worthy of celebration. Perhaps it’s time to rethink our approach and start embracing those unique flavors now rather than waiting for an occasion that may never come. After all, every day has the potential to become memorable, don’t you think? So let’s raise a glass and toast to the ordinary, before it turns extraordinary by sunset!
